This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop the recruiting function for Theori’s North American team as it expands.

• Oversee full-cycle recruiting for sales, marketing, operations, and engineering, from the initial intake to a new hire’s first week.

• Conduct intake sessions with hiring managers to align on the candidate profile, scorecard, and interview process.

• Source and evaluate candidates directly, initially concentrating on sales, sales engineering, and technical marketing roles.

• Provide hiring managers with well-defined candidate recommendations.

• Utilize Ashby as the primary system of record and report on time-to-fill and pass-through rates.

• Manage retention and consent settings in collaboration with the privacy lead.

• Organize interview processes and keep candidates updated throughout.

• Handle offers in collaboration with hiring managers and Operations until closure.

• Manage relationships with agencies and search partners, including overflow for high-volume positions.

• Draft and maintain recruiting standard operating procedures (SOPs) for intake, interview processes, scorecards, offer approvals, and candidate communications.

• Oversee the transition from signed offer to the first day, including pre-boarding, Gusto and Remote setup, equipment and access requests, and planning for the first week.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including in-house work at a venture-backed startup.

• Proven success in hiring go-to-market roles (AE, SE, BDR, marketing) in B2B software.

• Strong direct sourcing capabilities, with successful hires made through outbound efforts.

• Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system; Ashby is preferred.

• Ability to manage a high volume of open roles across various functions while maintaining an excellent candidate experience.

• Clear and direct written communication with both candidates and hiring managers.

• Must be based in the US or Canada.

• Experience in recruiting within cybersecurity or developer tools.

• Built a recruiting function or process from the ground up.

• Technical recruiting experience for security research or engineering positions.

• Collaborated with executive search firms for senior-level hires.

• Experience hiring across both the US and Canada.

• Worked with teams across different time zones, including Asia.
