Senior React Native Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Address intricate mobile development challenges on a daily basis.

• Create, develop, test, and sustain outstanding user experiences for iOS and Android platforms utilizing React Native and Expo.

• Assume responsibility for features from the technical design phase through to implementation, testing, release, and continuous enhancement.

• Collaborate with engineers to guarantee that our codebase is scalable, maintainable, efficient, and easily understandable.

• Partner with product and design teams to translate requirements into top-notch mobile experiences.

• Manage technical debt while balancing business priorities.

• Decompose complex issues into smaller, modular solutions.

• Contribute to technical decision-making, code reviews, and engineering standards across our mobile applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Applications with less than 6 years of experience will not be considered.

• More than 4 years of professional experience in developing production applications using React Native.

• Strong professional background with Expo and the React Native ecosystem.

• High proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Solid understanding of mobile application performance, debugging, testing, error handling, and release processes.

• Experience in integrating REST APIs and creating reliable, user-friendly mobile experiences.

• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

• Significant React web development experience is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

• Collaborate closely with teams based in both India and the US.
