Master Data Management, MDM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute projects and initiatives related to Master Data.

• Implement processes and maintain Master and Reference Data Management components to ensure accurate data creation, transformation, and retention.

• Inform and contribute to Master Data policies, standards, and procedures.

• Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to develop processes and define rules ensuring data validity and consistency across systems of record.

• Work in partnership with Data Governance Working Groups to apply governance specifications to Master Data.

• Assist Data Owners and Stewards in strategically prioritizing MDM initiatives that align with business objectives.

• Implement, maintain, and enhance Data Governance and Stewardship Processes connected to the MDM ecosystem.

• Conduct audits and validate Master Data definitions.

• Lead or engage in defining business requirements that support system configuration changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 6 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in Data Governance/MDM.

• Proven experience in implementing, maintaining, and evolving Data Governance and Stewardship Processes within the MDM ecosystem.

• Experience in auditing and validating definitions of Master Data.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Proficient with Master Data Management tools such as Informatica, Profisee, or Semarchy.

• Experience in defining business requirements to facilitate system configuration changes.

• Strong analytical skills and high proficiency in data profiling and modeling.

• Knowledge of data methodologies including REST, SOAP, Python, and SQL.

• Ability to cultivate and maintain robust internal and external relationships.
