Senior RCDD Designer – Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive engineering designs utilizing CAD/BIM software, emphasizing cable routing for data centers/buildings, equipment arrangements, and communication systems.

• Act as the design authority for projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes are achieved.

• Oversee smaller projects from their initial stages through to completion.

• Represent Olsson during client meetings.

• Conduct site visits as necessary.

• Design systems for data centers and buildings.

• Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and documents related to telecom and security design.

• Collaborate with Olsson teams, professionals, technical staff, and clients.

• Engage directly with major technology companies and other critical mission clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• RCDD Licensure is required.

• Excellent communication skills are essential.

• Ability to both contribute and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in CAD/BIM.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is necessary.

• Capability to design and layout intricate engineering drawings.

• Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, and Revit is preferred.

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting and Design is preferred.

• Experience in the Data Center sector is preferred.
