Design Convergence Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and execution of vehicle interior and exterior specifications from the conceptual stage to the initiation of tooling.

• Facilitate cross-functional teamwork with product design, engineering, quality assurance, and external suppliers to establish and align gap and flush specifications.

• Aid in the application of customer audit standards throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.

• Evaluate CAD data and tolerance stack-up outcomes to ensure adherence to perceived quality design standards.

• Oversee project outcomes and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Propel the identification, monitoring, and escalation of issues as necessary.

• Contribute to the alignment of vehicle design specifications from the initial concept phase to tooling kickoff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

• Prior experience in automotive engineering, manufacturing, or quality assurance settings.

• Knowledge of statistics and root cause analysis techniques.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with CAD tools is preferred.

• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
