This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and Product Strategy stakeholders to address strategic inquiries and develop analysis and reporting.
• Employ statistical techniques such as conjoint analysis and multivariate regression to pinpoint product attributes that enhance productivity.
• Convert analysis into data-informed recommendations regarding portfolio expansion, reduction, or adjustments.
• Identify and manage confounding factors including stock-outs, new or discontinued SKUs, and seasonal variations.
• Detect data inconsistencies across ERP, web, and product-master-data sources.
• Amend records in Snowflake and partner with upstream platform owners to enhance source data and downstream analytics accuracy.
• Independently present findings to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
• Suggest and sustain recurring analytics and reporting on SKU productivity.
• Leverage AI to analyze data, automate routine reporting, identify errors, and boost output.
• 2-5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or statistics within similar SKU-driven industries.
• Strong foundation in statistics or operations research, encompassing regression, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, and optimization.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Practical experience with Snowflake, including the ability to write back to rectify or cleanse production data.
• Proven ability to present findings and challenge assumptions directly with senior stakeholders and executives.
• Capable of independent execution in alignment with business objectives.
• Inquisitive mindset with the ability to delve into the root causes of data trends.
• Understanding of SKU-level economics, including sell-through, margin, inventory position, and lifecycle stage.
• Considers data quality integral to the role, including root-cause analysis and direct corrections.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in a business context for task automation.
• Excellent English communication skills coupled with a strong ownership mentality.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools in conjunction with Snowflake.
• Experience with margin, pricing, or demand forecasting data.
• Background in retail, e-commerce, or luxury/home furnishings sectors.
