Data Analytics Consultant II / Senior Consultant I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze business inquiries and provide actionable insights.

• Gather, structure, query, and assess extensive datasets from various sources.

• Recognize trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.

• Develop and improve Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and tools for performance measurement.

• Utilize SQL for data querying and manipulation to create datasets ready for analytics.

• Implement best practices for data quality and governance.

• Oversee business performance and assess key initiatives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities and address business challenges.

• Present conclusions using clear visualizations, data storytelling, and recommendations focused on business needs.

• Handle multiple analytics projects and contribute to ongoing improvements and best practices in analytics.

• Consultant II: Perform analyses, recurring reporting, dashboard enhancements, and assignments for performance measurement; clarify business inquiries and gather requirements; apply established analytical techniques and data standards; identify trends and convey recommendations.

• Senior Consultant I: Execute complex analyses; collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders; link insights across datasets and performance metrics; formulate recommendations that influence strategy and priorities; foresee risks related to data quality and governance; enhance team deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Consultant II: At least 1 year of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field.

• Senior Consultant I: Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field.

• Proficient knowledge of SQL (Consultant II).

• Advanced SQL and data analysis capabilities (Senior Consultant I).

• Experience in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or a comparable tool.

• Ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks, priorities, and multiple assignments.

• Experience in independently leading various analytics projects and influencing business decisions through insights (Senior Consultant I).

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Background in insurance, sales, distribution, or financial analytics (preferred).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or data lakehouse environments (preferred).

• Working knowledge of Python, R, or another programming language (preferred).

• The selected candidate for this role will need to undergo a background investigation.

• Must have a reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload for remote work.

• Must have a dedicated and private workspace that is free from distractions, equipped with an appropriate desk and seating for remote work.
