Educational Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with school district leaders and educators to identify their data analytics requirements.

• Inform various stakeholders on how to utilize dashboards for effective data interpretation.

• Create and tailor metrics and dashboards to meet specific needs.

• Employ SQL for managing databases and executing queries.

• Offer continuous support and maintenance for dashboards.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to the platform and data quality.

• Guarantee accurate reporting and efficient data modeling.

• Work alongside data scientists, engineers, and Product teams to improve the data platform.

• Report directly to the Head of Data Science.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with educational data and knowledge of K–12 schooling.

• Proficient in data visualization tools and dashboard creation.

• Capability to convert complex data into understandable and actionable insights.

• Expertise in SQL.

• Experience managing projects independently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Enthusiasm for education and enhancing educational outcomes.

• Over 4 years of experience in roles such as data analyst, data engineer, or similar positions.

• Familiarity with Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation (Nice to Have).

• Experience with K–12 Student Information Systems like Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, Skyward, or Aeries (Nice to Have).
