This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
β’ Take charge of analytics and reporting that supports the Portfolio Development team, concentrating on SKU productivity and capital allocation for over 20,000 SKUs.
β’ Collaborate closely with the CEO and Product Strategy stakeholders to pinpoint strategic inquiries and develop analysis and reporting.
β’ Utilize statistical techniques such as conjoint analysis and multivariate regression to uncover product attributes that enhance productivity.
β’ Offer data-driven insights regarding portfolio expansion, contraction, or adjustments.
β’ Recognize and manage confounding factors, including stock-outs, new or discontinued SKUs, and seasonal variations.
β’ Detect inconsistencies in source data and rectify or clean production records within Snowflake.
β’ Collaborate with upstream platform owners to enhance the accuracy of source data and downstream analytics.
β’ Independently present findings to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
β’ Recommend and sustain ongoing analytics and reporting related to SKU productivity.
β’ Leverage AI to expedite data exploration, automate repetitive reporting tasks, identify errors, and boost output.
β’ 2-5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or statistics in similar SKU-focused businesses.
β’ A solid foundation in statistics or operations research, encompassing regression, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, and optimization.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and Python.
β’ Practical experience with Snowflake, including the ability to write back to correct or clean production data.
β’ Proven history of presenting findings and challenging assumptions directly to senior stakeholders and executives.
β’ Capability to execute independently and prioritize analysis based on business objectives.
β’ A curious mindset with the ability to investigate the underlying causes of data patterns.
β’ Comprehension of SKU-level economics, including sell-through rates, margins, inventory positions, and lifecycle stages.
β’ Considers data quality an integral part of the role and directly addresses root causes.
β’ Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in a business context for task automation.
β’ Strong English communication skills coupled with a high ownership mentality.
