Senior Quality Staff Manager – Business Process Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of quality professionals.

• Cultivate a high-engagement, customer-oriented, and collaborative atmosphere.

• Deliver specialized training on quality practices, best practices, and lessons learned.

• Establish quality objectives that align with project milestones and regulatory standards.

• Supervise the complete supplier quality lifecycle, from qualification and procurement quality control to final surveillance.

• Direct supplier interactions to define quality requirements, validate inspection processes, and ensure adherence to engineering specifications.

• Implement and track supplier quality metrics.

• Communicate KPIs to internal stakeholders and external supplier leadership.

• Lead the analysis of complex quality challenges, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Oversee the development and technical review of quality documents, project plans, and procedures.

• Manage supplier quality surveillance, including on-site audits and inspections, requiring up to 50% travel.

• Govern the disposition of supplier non-conforming products.

• Act as the quality interface throughout the BWRX-300 project lifecycle.

• Oversee the implementation of the GE Vernova Quality Assurance Program for the BWRX-300 project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• At least 7 years of professional experience in a quality or nuclear-related discipline.

• Proven capability to lead and inspire teams.

• Thorough knowledge of 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, and Canada CSA N286-12 standards.

• Familiarity with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Sections III, IX, and XI.

• Understanding of ISO-9001.

• Strong experience in Nuclear Industry technologies, including SMRs.

• Proficient in NDE processes and resolving welding-related issues.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and RCA methodologies.

• Eligibility to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if required.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
