Senior Quality Manager – Business Process Management

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic leader for the BWRX-300 initiative

• Supervise the implementation of the GE Vernova Quality Assurance Program

• Lead, manage, and nurture a team of quality experts

• Provide technical vision and oversight for procurement functions

• Cultivate a highly engaged, customer-oriented, and collaborative atmosphere

• Deliver specialized training on quality processes, best practices, and lessons learned

• Establish quality objectives that align with project milestones and regulatory requirements

• Manage the comprehensive supplier quality lifecycle, from qualification and procurement quality control to final surveillance

• Guide supplier engagement to outline quality requirements, verify inspection procedures, and ensure adherence to engineering specifications

• Implement and track supplier quality metrics, reporting KPIs to internal stakeholders and supplier leadership

• Lead the investigation of complex quality issues, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA)

• Oversee the creation and technical review of quality documentation, project plans, and procedures

• Direct supplier quality surveillance, including on-site audits and inspections

• Travel up to 50% to facilitate audits and inspections

• Manage the disposition of supplier non-conforming products in accordance with nuclear standards

• Serve as the quality liaison throughout the BWRX-300 lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university

• At least 7 years of professional experience in a quality or nuclear-related field

• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, promoting a robust culture of compliance, collaboration, and customer focus

• Extensive knowledge of 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, and Canada CSA N286-12 standards

• Familiarity with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code (Sections III, IX, and XI) and ISO-9001

• Strong background in Nuclear Industry technologies, such as SMRs

• Experience in NDE processes and resolution of welding-related issues

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to influence cross-functional teams and maintain solid supplier relationships

• Competent in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and RCA methodologies

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Capability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable
