Senior QA Engineer – Back End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Plan, prepare, and uphold test cases along with test documentation.

• Execute both manual and automated API testing utilizing Postman, Swagger, and associated tools.

• Engage actively in the release process throughout all phases.

• Work closely with the development team to gather information, report identified issues, and monitor their resolution.

• Collaborate with analysts and developers during the analysis of feature requirements.

• Proactively streamline the duration of the test cycle.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects on the back-end side.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in Back-End/API testing.

• Extensive day-to-day experience at the service layer, rather than incidental API coverage alongside a UI testing role.

• Strong knowledge of API testing tools, such as Postman and Swagger.

• Familiarity with various testing methodologies.

• Practical experience in automated testing using JavaScript or Go.

• Established history in defect detection, documentation, and monitoring on the Back-End side.

• Experience with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as GitHub.

• Understanding of software development methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload effectively, and identify quality or timeline risks.

• Exceptional analytical and investigative problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently.

• Proficient in English for documentation purposes.

• Proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian for internal communication.

• Nice to have: experience with Web3 and non-custodial wallets.

• Nice to have: knowledge of smart contracts and basic blockchain concepts.
