This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and developers to establish quality from the outset.
• Assess and interpret business requirements, converting them into effective test strategies.
• Develop, implement, and sustain test documentation and test plans.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing of web applications, which includes exploratory, functional, acceptance, regression, and UI testing.
• Evaluate REST and GraphQL APIs along with backend services for robustness and accuracy.
• Recognize, document, prioritize, and monitor quality issues and defects.
• Drive root cause analysis in collaboration with developers to expedite defect resolution.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for best practices.
• Participate in process enhancements that elevate product quality and engineering performance.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Assess web applications for WCAG/ADA accessibility compliance utilizing both manual and automated methods.
• Support performance and security testing efforts where necessary.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven experience with test design techniques and their practical application.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, client-server architecture, and APIs.
• Familiarity with testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Experience with testing tools like Axe, Lighthouse, or screen readers.
• Proficient with automated testing frameworks, including Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest.
• Extensive experience with bug tracking systems, particularly JIRA.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality, user-centered products.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
