Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Oversee suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

• Monitor and confirm accurate product finish timelines.

• Work closely with suppliers and the team based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

• Guarantee timely and effective product availability within the portfolio.

• Evaluate supplier performance and offer constructive feedback.

• Negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers.

• Utilize and enhance quality expertise to foster ongoing success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in quality control is essential.

• Experience in the furniture industry is mandatory.

• Strong color acuity.

• Basic proficiency in English for verbal and written communication.

• Capability to work autonomously without direct supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Outstanding organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Adaptability and flexibility.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with tablets and simple data entry tasks.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage challenging situations tactfully and professionally.

• Proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.

• Strong knowledge of market trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.

• Exceptional skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship building.

• Proficient in data entry and analytics tools.

• Keen sense of high-end quality.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adjust to shifting priorities.

• Proficiency in English.
