QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a quality-driven process across various projects

• Work closely with the QA team in Brazil and engage with cross-functional teams

• Conduct Quality Assurance Testing as well as User Acceptance Testing

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee releases across diverse product categories

• Handle updates for product features, bug resolutions, enhancements, and other modifications

• Perform quality assessments of applications

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to create test plans, strategies, and cases

• Shape and validate code, ensuring adherence to business and system requirements

• Employ manual testing tools and integrate test automation as a new process

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in quality assurance/manual testing for public-facing web applications

• Proven experience validating desktop and mobile devices, multiple browsers, and responsive breakpoints

• More than 3 years of involvement in web-based software projects throughout the software development lifecycle

• At least 2 years of automated testing experience with tools like Cypress, Playwright, or similar

• Knowledge of test architecture design, reusable test utilities, test data strategies, and CI/CD integration

• Over 2 years of experience validating API integrations using Swagger, Postman, or automated API testing frameworks

• Previous experience in release management

• Capability to work in Agile or Waterfall environments

• Experience in ADA and WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance testing

• Proficiency in managing project requirements and test results through Azure DevOps and Jira

• Familiarity with Confluence, ADO Wiki, or similar knowledge management platforms

• Experience in a team-centric, collaborative work environment

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business, Management Information Systems, or Accounting

• Preferred experience with BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or similar cross-browser and cross-device testing platforms

• Preferred experience in testing Content Management Systems such as Sitecore, Optimizely, ContentStack, or Contentful

• Proven ability to write automated test scripts for functional and integration testing

• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to debug UI issues, analyze DOM behavior, and assist in automated test development

• Familiarity with contemporary front-end frameworks like React or Next.js

• Ability to make independent judgments and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and a customer service-oriented mindset
