Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the overall quality of products across the web portal, APIs, mobile applications, and data pipelines.

• Develop and implement thorough manual testing plans for web applications, REST APIs, iOS and Android mobile applications, and backend services.

• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data within ETL pipelines and integrations.

• Perform exploratory and regression testing to discover edge cases, identify bugs, and detect regressions early in the process.

• Generate, maintain, and structure detailed test cases, test data, and defect reports.

• Collaborate with teams from Mobile, Platform, research, engineering, and product to uphold consistent quality standards.

• Test RESTful API endpoints, responses, and integration logic utilizing Postman or Insomnia.

• Manage defect triage with developers and product managers, replicate customer-reported issues, and guarantee swift resolutions.

• Serve as the final quality checkpoint prior to release within intricate enterprise environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in QA/Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior or lead QA position.

• Strong expertise in manual testing across web, API, and mobile applications—both iOS and Android platforms.

• Proficient in testing REST APIs with tools like Postman, Insomnia, or curl.

• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL validation, and structured data formats (JSON, CSV, SQL).

• Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and verifying backend data.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail when documenting defects and test coverage.

• Capacity to prioritize multiple projects and QA scope for substantial releases in a dynamic environment.
