Senior QA Automation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain automated tests for both backend and frontend systems.

• Build, enhance, and manage automation frameworks utilizing Robot Framework and Python.

• Formulate test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases to guarantee application coverage and quality.

• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.

• Automate testing processes for web interfaces, REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices.

• Validate APIs using tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent.

• Identify, analyze, document, and report software defects.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, engage in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to quality assurance from refinement through delivery.

• Oversee deployments and carry out validations outside of regular business hours when required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in developing test strategies, plans, cases, scenarios, and documentation.

• Demonstrated experience in test automation and framework development.

• Expertise in Robot Framework and Python.

• Experience in automating interface, API, and integrated-flow testing.

• Familiarity with testing frontend (web) and backend systems (REST/SOAP APIs and microservices).

• Experience with various testing types including functional, regression, exploratory, integration, E2E, and non-functional testing.

• Understanding of automation best practices, code organization, component reuse, parameterization, and report generation.

• Proficient in using Git for version control.

• Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps for managing backlogs, planning, traceability, and test execution.

• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Strong analytical skills for investigating and identifying defects.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a capacity to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

• Willingness to monitor deployments and conduct validations outside of regular business hours when necessary.

• Familiarity with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.

• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.

• Knowledge of code quality and static analysis tools.

• Familiarity with containers and virtualized environments (Docker).

• Experience in performance testing using JMeter, K6, or similar tools.

• Understanding of usability (UX) and accessibility testing.

• Familiarity with distributed systems architecture, microservices, and messaging.

• Experience in high-criticality environments, including e-commerce, payment systems, or transactional systems.
