Senior Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop a private cloud solution for a government agency in a Western European nation

• Transition workloads into the newly established environment

• Offer long-term maintenance and support for the production platform

• Design, create, test, and deploy new backend applications

• Evaluate and enhance existing backend infrastructure applications

• Collaborate with architects, functional designers, and specialists on system and application architecture

• Provide technical insights for scope estimation, pre-sales documentation, and client enhancement proposals

• Advance towards taking ownership of technical decisions, determining solution direction, mentoring engineers, and discussing the future of the engagement

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience with Python

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the software delivery lifecycle, including GitLab

• Proficiency with Robot Framework and Pytest

• Experience with containerization

• Knowledge of Linux system administration

• Understanding of infrastructure including firewalls, reverse proxies, forward proxies, and IPv4/IPv6 networking

• Consulting mindset: recognize business objectives, critically assess client requests, and work independently within ambiguous scopes

• Capacity to establish and nurture client relationships
