This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Develop, support, and maintain applications for Global Equity trading and analytics, along with visualization tools and client-facing solutions.
• Deliver high-performance applications for trading and sales teams that encompass risk and analytics, price discovery, quotation, and hedging.
• Implement real-time analytics flows for volatility to inform pricing and risk-management decisions.
• Create trading tools for pricing and parameter marking utilized by traders and structurers.
• Design and construct a framework for corporate actions adjustments.
• Integrate applications with central back-end infrastructure, including containerization, messaging, databases, and deployment.
• Collaborate directly with traders and front-office personnel to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Ensure that applications meet standards for performance, reliability, and scalability in live trading environments.
• Work alongside engineering and quantitative teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting trading and analytics systems.
• Transform front-office business requirements into robust, production-grade software.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundation in equity derivatives, financial markets, and trading environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, C#, or C++; Python and C# are preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in developing distributed applications and multi-threaded systems.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD processes and version control systems.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and messaging-based systems.
• Experience in integrating applications with back-end infrastructure for containerization, databases, and deployment.
• Proven ability to build and sustain high-performance, low-latency applications.
• Experience collaborating directly with front-office stakeholders, including traders and sales desks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work collaboratively across quantitative, engineering, and trading functions.
• Experience with volatility modeling or derivatives pricing libraries is preferred.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or Docker is preferred.
• Exposure to Kafka, Solace, or similar messaging technologies is preferred.
• Experience with real-time data visualization frameworks is preferred.
• Prior experience in investment banking or financial markets technology is preferred.
• Familiarity with corporate actions processing and reference data is preferred.
• Knowledge of Java or R is preferred.
