Senior Python Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and solutions utilizing Python

• Engage in defining and evolving the architecture of systems and applications

• Create APIs, microservices, and facilitate integrations between enterprise systems

• Construct scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions

• Take part in technical discussions, requirements definition, and solution design

• Implement best practices in development, including version control, testing, and code quality

• Integrate with databases, internal systems, and external services

• Support initiatives for application modernization and technological evolution

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle

• Identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure solution stability and performance

• Contribute to the dissemination of best practices in development and architecture

• Participate in initiatives for automation, continuous improvement, and technological innovation

• Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools and resources to enhance development and boost delivery productivity

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python

• Experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar

• Familiarity with ORMs like SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, or equivalent

• Experience in implementing backend caching strategies using Redis and/or Memcached

• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB

• Ability to model database entities effectively

• Knowledge of REST API development, including best practices for design, authentication, authorization, security, and the use of JWT/OAuth 2.0

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as pytest, unittest, or similar, including TDD and/or BDD approaches

• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git

• Experience working in agile teams utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies

• Development experience in Linux environments

• Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and their methods

• Experience with Docker and application containerization

• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of software architecture and architectural patterns; NGINX; RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Celery; JavaScript, React, and Node.js; Terraform or other IaC tools; observability; OpenAPI/Swagger; microservices; AWS services; CI/CD
