Power Platform Architect – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Define and implement the enterprise Power Platform strategy, roadmap, and operational model.

• Translate business priorities into actionable delivery plans with measurable results.

• Identify and prioritize opportunities in automation, low-code, data, and AI.

• Provide guidance to senior business and technology leaders regarding platform capabilities, investments, risks, and adoption strategies.

• Establish solution architecture, integration patterns, security standards, environment strategies, and platform guardrails.

• Develop and enhance Power Platform governance and Center of Excellence capabilities.

• Create reusable frameworks, components, standards, and reference architectures.

• Ensure that solutions comply with enterprise architecture, data, privacy, security, compliance, and application lifecycle management requirements.

• Monitor platform health, technical debt, capacity, licensing considerations, and operational risks.

• Oversee solutions from intake and design through to build, testing, deployment, adoption, and support transition.

• Drive multiple initiatives, manage dependencies, eliminate blockers, and maintain delivery momentum.

• Offer hands-on technical leadership and support for solution design or troubleshooting.

• Ensure that solutions are practical, scalable, maintainable, and focused on delivering measurable business value.

• Foster accountability among delivery teams and effectively communicate progress, decisions, risks, and actions.

• Mentor architects, developers, analysts, makers, and citizen developers.

• Provide practical guidance and advocate for reusable solutions and disciplined engineering practices.

• Collaborate with business teams to enhance adoption and achieve anticipated benefits.

• Stay informed about Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, Azure, and relevant AI capabilities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned and support organizational quality initiatives.

• Travel to client sites as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• A combination of education, professional certifications, and relevant work experience will be considered equivalent.

• Over 12 years of experience in software engineering, application delivery, solution architecture, or enterprise technology leadership.

• More than 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

• At least 5 years leading enterprise-scale Power Platform programs, governance initiatives, platform architecture, or Center of Excellence capabilities.

• Experience in establishing architecture standards, governance models, security controls, environmental strategies, and application lifecycle management practices.

• Proven track record of delivering complex business solutions from conception to production and adoption.

• Experience in integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure services, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise applications.

• Ability to work independently in a remote U.S. environment and lead effectively across distributed teams.

• Familiarity with Copilot Studio, AI agents, generative AI, and intelligent automation.

• Experience in building or managing a Power Platform Center of Excellence or enterprise citizen development program.

• Possession of Microsoft Power Platform solution architect or developer certifications.

• Experience with Azure integration, identity, security, DevOps, and enterprise data services.

• Capability to translate vision into a practical plan and execute it.

• Proficiency in solving complex problems and navigating ambiguity.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and decision-making.
