Senior Backend Developer – Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product across its entire lifecycle, from the initial concept of features through to ongoing maintenance.

• Provide services related to the product.

• Diagnose technical challenges, including bugs, incidents, and analyses.

• Adhere to the policies and processes established by the client.

• Develop unit, functional, and performance tests in alignment with team standards.

• Address production issues and incidents that impact customers.

• Instrument applications to gather performance data, operational logs, and metrics.

• Collaborate with a Brazilian digital bank that offers a free account, personalized credit card, and investment products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Kotlin.

• Experience with the Spring Framework.

• Familiarity with software development best practices: TDD, DDD, and Clean Code.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies/frameworks: Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience with AWS cloud services, including SQS and S3.

• Proficient in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis databases.

• Experience with unit testing.

• Knowledge of Git Flow version control.

• Understanding of event-driven architecture.

• Strong and effective communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and resolve conflicts.

• Capacity to thrive in agile, multidisciplinary teams.

• Creativity and initiative to envision diverse application usage scenarios.

• Familiarity with Docker, JavaScript, and the Apigee platform is a plus.
