Senior Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in crafting intricate and strategic proposals, encompassing design-build and alternative delivery projects.

• Organize and facilitate proposal review meetings, including initial kickoff and quality assessment sessions.

• Act as the main point of contact for proposal initiatives, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.

• Work closely with business development and leadership teams to formulate win themes, messaging, and pursuit strategies.

• Create, edit, and tailor proposal content to align with project requirements and client specifications.

• Review and refine technical content to ensure clarity, persuasiveness, professionalism, consistency, and adherence to branding standards.

• Manage and enhance reusable content libraries, which include resumes, project sheets, and standardized responses.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to proposal managers and support personnel.

• Supervise proposal review processes to ensure quality, compliance, and innovation.

• Update executives on status and offer strategic insights during significant pursuits.

• Discover and apply best practices, tools, and templates to improve processes.

• Build relationships with teaming partners and subcontractors, overseeing their contributions to proposals.

• Conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends.

• Lead post-submission debriefs and lessons-learned discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in proposal management within the AEC industry, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).

• Strong grasp of federal, state, and local government procurement processes and compliance standards.

• Proficient in proposal management software and knowledgeable about AEC industry standards.

• Expertise in developing complex proposal strategies, including alternate delivery methods.

• Outstanding leadership, communication, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.

• Experience with CALTRANS is highly desirable.
