Senior Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete proposal development process, from the initial RFP analysis to the final submission.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, writers, and other contributors to compile proposal content.

• Provide guidance and leadership to managers and professional staff.

• Create and maintain proposal timelines, ensuring compliance with deadlines.

• Identify and allocate necessary resources to fulfill proposal requirements.

• Draft, edit, and review proposal content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to compliance standards.

• Convert complex information into engaging proposals while collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Perform comprehensive quality reviews of all proposals.

• Apply best practices in proposal development.

• Engage with Business Development and Operations teams to clarify requirements and resolve queries.

• Cultivate positive relationships across various teams.

• Maintain a repository of proposal materials, templates, and reusable content.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with 12+ years of direct experience in proposal management, specifically managing complex Government bids exceeding $100M.

• At least 3 years of experience in a management role.

• Equivalent experience may be accepted in place of the degree requirement.

• Proven ability to deliver proposals that are compliant with RFP requirements and align with capture-team direction.

• A successful track record of developing winning, compliant, and persuasive proposals.

• Familiarity with the Shipley proposal process or similar methodologies.

• APMP certification is preferred.
