This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead and oversee the team responsible for delivering enterprise network projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and network leadership to ensure seamless technical project execution.
• Convert high-level network designs into comprehensive, deployable technical solutions.
• Facilitate technical discussions with business stakeholders, providing suitable solutions and recommendations.
• Offer technical direction and support to network engineers.
• Supervise engineers tasked with network installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance.
• Review and manage network architecture, drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to aid in equipment procurement.
• Direct network capacity management initiatives.
• Evaluate project resource needs, capacity limitations, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, business stakeholders, and network leadership.
• Ensure that network project outputs satisfy technical, operational, and organizational standards.
• Support various network projects within a mission-critical enterprise setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in network engineering, design, deployment, and technical leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in managing or leading enterprise network teams.
• Extensive background in developing and implementing enterprise network designs.
• More than 10 years of experience with Cisco networking equipment and technologies, or equivalent enterprise networking experience.
• CCNP or a similar certification.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying enterprise networks in mission-critical, 24×7 production settings.
• Strong experience in network documentation, including network drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Experience in preparing or managing Bills of Materials (BOM) for network equipment procurement.
• Knowledge of network capacity planning and resource management.
• Strong project delivery and technical leadership capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with technical teams, project teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
