Senior Project Manager – Publisher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation and delivery of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for an AI-driven acquisitions decision-support platform.

• Oversee the daily delivery of the platform MVP, ensuring alignment with scope, milestones, and business goals.

• Manage the external delivery vendor according to the Statement of Work (SOW), timeline, deliverables, and established expectations.

• Coordinate with the vendor, internal data and engineering teams, and business stakeholders to eliminate obstacles.

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collect feedback from business users, monitor issues, and confirm launch readiness.

• Convert technical project details into updates, decisions, action items, and documentation suitable for non-technical stakeholders.

• Maintain documentation on requirements, decisions, risks, dependencies, UAT results, and delivery status.

• Identify and escalate risks, changes in scope, dependencies, and delivery challenges.

• Assist with change management and user adoption during the MVP launch.

• Ensure effective knowledge transfer and documentation for the project handover to a future internal owner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record as a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or in a similar position leading data, analytics, AI, or technology platform implementations.

• Direct experience managing external delivery vendors according to a defined Statement of Work (SOW), project timelines, and delivery milestones.

• Strong background in coordinating technical teams alongside non-technical business stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, including feedback collection, issue tracking, and resolution coordination.

• Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a dynamic project environment.

• Availability to start as soon as possible and maintain significant overlap with U.S. time zones.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Based in Latin America (LATAM).

• Experience in the media, publishing, or entertainment sectors.

• Familiarity with M&A, acquisitions, or investment-related business teams.

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Product Manager.

• Strong technical fluency in data, analytics, AI, and/or platform implementations.

• Experience delivering MVPs in high-growth or fast-paced corporate environments.

• Experience managing projects that involve external technology or implementation partners.
