Project Manager – Medical Publications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the management of all phases of medical publication projects from start to finish

• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and collaborate with various company departments

• Fulfill client and management expectations

• Build and nurture strong relationships with faculty members and clients

• Ensure programs stay on track and within agreed-upon parameters

• Develop, maintain, oversee, and reconcile project budgets

• Manage external vendors

• Keep programs timely and focused on core objectives

• Provide continuous updates to internal team members and client contacts

• Oversee project resources

• Stay informed about client organizations, products, disease states, and publications

• Contribute to new business development efforts within the account team

• Organize and lead start-up, interim, and final team meetings

• Create and maintain timelines and event schedules

• Ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and in alignment with strategy

• Manage daily account tasks for each project

• Supervise and facilitate the development of all project activities

• Assist in onboarding new account team members

• Uphold company policies and comply with Lockwood Group policies and standard operating procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory

• Three to five years of applicable project management experience in a publications setting is required

• Capability to understand and retain scientific information

• Strong technical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Familiarity with publication management platforms, such as iEnvision/Datavision and PubStrat

• Excellent communication abilities

• Proven experience in successfully leading multidisciplinary teams

• Strong financial management capabilities

• Highly organized and skilled in multitasking and prioritizing

• Ability and eagerness to inspire and motivate others
