This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee project management for mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, integrations, and other significant cross-functional projects from initial planning to successful completion.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, workstreams, milestones, and decision logs across various concurrent initiatives.
• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams including finance, legal, HR, product, engineering, operations, security, leadership, and external partners.
• Assist with due diligence by organizing data requests, tracking outstanding items, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring progress across workstreams.
• Lead integration planning and execution, covering readiness activities, managing dependencies, and follow-through post-close.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and decision points, and drive resolution strategies early on.
• Facilitate communication at the executive level, including status reporting, governance meetings, and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams while keeping visibility into the overall health of the project.
• Foster accountability across teams while promoting collaboration, trust, and transparency.
• Enhance internal M&A processes, integration playbooks, and operational best practices.
• Assist teams in adapting to changing priorities and evolving business demands.
• Travel up to 35% as required by project needs.
• 8+ years of project/program management experience in M&A, corporate development, consulting, financial services, enterprise technology, operations, or similarly complex settings.
• Previous experience leading an M&A project.
• Demonstrated experience in leading or supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or other high-visibility cross-functional initiatives.
• Capability to operate independently in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
• Proficient in building consensus among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and simply to executives, teams, and external partners.
• Sound judgment and discretion in managing sensitive or confidential initiatives.
• Experience managing projects with multiple systems, functions, vendors, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and pragmatic approach balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Proactive problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in recovering or stabilizing troubled projects/programs or navigating ambiguity during organizational change.
• Preferred: experience with due diligence coordination, integration planning, and post-close execution.
• Preferred: experience in change management, process improvement, or operational integration initiatives.
• Preferred: background in SaaS, software, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Preferred: experience managing distributed or remote teams.
• PMP or related project management certifications are welcome, but not mandatory.
