This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Act as the primary internal resource for understanding the requirements associated with public calls for proposals and contracts, which encompass workload, attendance, faculty, infrastructure, enrollment, dropout rates, and other obligations.
• Convert these requirements into an obligations tracker that outlines deadlines, responsible parties, and necessary supporting documentation.
• Keep track of amendments, notices, and regulatory updates, ensuring the tracker is updated and relevant departments are notified accordingly.
• Compile and submit reports along with supporting documentation by the specified deadlines and in the required formats set by government agencies.
• Gather, verify, and arrange supporting documentation in collaboration with the academic, finance, registrar’s office, and campus teams.
• Ensure consistency between the reported data and internal databases prior to submission.
• Address requests for further information and clarification from government agencies in a timely manner.
• Oversee the financial schedule, including projected and received amounts, discrepancies, and pending items.
• Identify and resolve disallowed expenses or deductions, determining their causes and implementing corrective processes.
• Maintain effective operational relationships with the Department of Education and other involved agencies.
• Keep organized, complete, and traceable document files for inspections or audits.
• Track indicators required by public calls for proposals and highlight any deviations.
• Suggest process improvements to mitigate recurring issues.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Public Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing accountability reports for agreements, contracts, or partnerships with public-sector entities, or in controllership, compliance, or auditing roles with a strong emphasis on documentation.
• Proficient in advanced Excel for database verification and reconciliation, utilizing functions such as lookups, pivot tables, list matching, and version control.
• Excellent formal writing skills, including drafting official letters, responding to requests for further information, and communicating with public agencies.
• Experience with government-funded state or federal education programs, such as Trilhas de Futuro, PRONATEC, PROPAG, or similar initiatives.
• Understanding of legislation relevant to partnerships and contracts with public administration entities.
• Acquainted with academic operations, including enrollment processes, class registers, attendance tracking, instructional hours, and academic record management.
• Experience utilizing accountability portals and systems of public-sector agencies.
