Senior Project Manager – Industrial Hygiene

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee industrial hygiene and environmental health & safety (EH&S) initiatives.

• Conduct and manage evaluations concerning asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality, and various environmental risks.

• Supervise field investigations, sampling activities, and data evaluation.

• Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

• Prepare and review technical documentation, proposals, and deliverables for clients.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering practical risk management solutions.

• Mentor junior team members and assist in the development of project groups.

• Support business development activities, including proposal creation and client interaction.

• Travel to project locations as required, including occasional emergency response duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a similar field.

• Over 8 years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental consulting, or environmental health & safety (EH&S), including responsibilities in project management.

• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

• Experience in conducting and managing evaluations related to asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality (IAQ), and occupational exposures.

• Proven track record in managing multiple projects, budgets, timelines, and client relationships.

• Strong skills in technical writing, presentations, and communication.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and overseeing technical staff.

• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client and project locations across Texas and nearby areas as necessary.

• Preferred: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

• Preferred: Texas Asbestos Consultant and/or Project Management certifications.

• Preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant industry certifications.

• Preferred: Experience in serving clients within the insurance, petrochemical, energy, manufacturing, maritime, or construction industries.

• Preferred: Established experience in business development, including proposal preparation, client management, and generating new business opportunities.

• Preferred: Master's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
