Senior Project Manager, Program Delivery – Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.

• Define workstreams, create delivery schedules, monitor milestones and dependencies, and drive execution until completion.

• Take ownership of high-stakes workstreams within broader programs.

• Facilitate working sessions with senior stakeholders and address delivery obstacles.

• Manage dependencies and risks across various workstreams.

• Support multiple simultaneous projects and workstreams.

• Generate delivery health reports suitable for leadership.

• Identify delivery deviations and emerging risks, escalating them with impact assessments and proposed actions.

• Ensure the quality of delivery signals across complex and cross-functional endeavors.

• Contribute to consolidated delivery reporting.

• Maintain milestone cadence during quarterly planning cycles.

• Enhance governance practices, delivery artifacts, and templates.

• Promote the use of tools and governance standards.

• Lead the onboarding process for new program initiatives.

• Facilitate retrospectives that yield measurable improvements.

• Maintain master timelines and status views across simultaneous workstreams and external partners.

• Organize working sessions and status updates for stakeholders.

• Manage expectations among executive sponsors, senior stakeholders, and delivery partners.

• Monitor cross-workstream dependencies.

• Collect requirements and status updates, translating them into structured plans.

• Ensure external delivery partners adhere to agreed timelines and priorities.

• Report to the Group Director of Enterprise Delivery & Governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of progressive experience in project delivery or program support.

• PMP or equivalent certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PgMP).

• Experience in a SaaS or technology-oriented business environment.

• Strong grasp of software delivery cycles and product-driven organizations.

• Proven history of independently managing complex projects with minimal oversight.

• Strong capabilities in delivery health and reporting.

• Proactive in identifying risks and assessing their impact.

• Experience in enhancing governance practices, delivery standards, or operational frameworks.

• Ownership mentality with accountability for delivery results.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships.

• Ability to juggle competing priorities and make decisions regarding sequencing and trade-offs.

• Experience supporting go-to-market strategies, sales operations, or commercial transformation programs.

• Familiarity with Salesforce functionalities.

• Ability to map data and fields across Salesforce and related systems.

• Capable of gathering and conveying technical requirements to non-technical audiences.

• Must be based in North America.

• Working hours should provide significant overlap with US business hours.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
