Senior Project Manager, Government Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery of enterprise government implementation projects from contract signing to go-live and post-implementation support.

• Take ownership of project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, and delivery outcomes.

• Create and uphold detailed project plans and implementation roadmaps.

• Ensure that projects are in line with contractual obligations and meet customer expectations.

• Serve as the main delivery contact for government clients and strategic partners.

• Cultivate relationships with technical, operational, and executive-level stakeholders within customer organizations.

• Facilitate governance meetings, provide status updates, and prepare executive reports.

• Manage stakeholder expectations while addressing delivery issues and risks.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Technical teams to convert customer requirements into actionable delivery plans.

• Coordinate both internal and external stakeholders throughout the implementation process.

• Assist in the deployment of AI-driven planning and permitting solutions.

• Lead efforts in customer readiness, process redesign, training coordination, and end-user adoption.

• Support customers in navigating organizational and operational changes.

• Monitor project performance, identifying risks, blockers, and dependencies.

• Ensure that milestones and customer acceptance criteria facilitate invoicing and revenue recognition.

• Enhance delivery frameworks, implementation methodologies, and operational processes.

• Manage multiple simultaneous projects across the United States, Canada, and Australia.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, implementation management, or program delivery within a customer-oriented technology environment.

• Proven track record in delivering enterprise SaaS, software implementation, or digital transformation projects.

• Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments across various teams and levels of seniority.

• Strong grasp of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Demonstrated capability in managing project risks, timelines, budgets, and competing priorities.

• Experience collaborating closely with technical, product, and engineering teams.

• Ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects across different time zones and distributed teams.

• Experience with local or state government agencies, public-sector organizations, or regulated industries is preferred.

• Background in supporting organizational change management or large-scale digital transformation initiatives is advantageous.

• Familiarity with US public-sector procurement, governance, compliance, or technology implementation landscapes is preferred.

• Experience in GovTech, PropTech, civic technology, urban planning, infrastructure, or smart-city contexts is preferred.

• Knowledge of permitting, planning, development, or land-use processes is considered a strong asset.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent are highly valued.

• Must preferably reside in the Austin area and/or in the state of Texas.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
