Project Manager – Finance & Accounting, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead strategic initiatives that bolster finance, accounting, and operational functions across both domestic and international landscapes.

• Manage intricate projects that encompass financial systems, process enhancements, regulatory compliance initiatives, technology rollouts, and ERP-related endeavors.

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and leadership teams to address financial reporting requirements and adhere to insurance accounting standards.

• Propel projects from inception to execution, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with business goals.

• Initiate projects by pinpointing business solutions, crafting business cases and project charters, and formulating budgets.

• Define project objectives, work breakdown structures, timelines, resources, training plans, milestones, stakeholder engagement plans, and communication strategies.

• Oversee requirements gathering, estimation, risk assessment, constraint management, dependency handling, contingency planning, and stakeholder engagement.

• Facilitate project execution meetings, track progress, address issues, coordinate deliverables, and aid in decision-making processes.

• Generate executive reports and status updates.

• Manage resources, training efforts, and knowledge transfer processes.

• Regulate scope and requirements alterations while maintaining change histories.

• Produce and refresh project KPIs.

• Ensure compliance with Software Quality Assurance standards.

• Assist in vendor management and due diligence; oversee vendor activities.

• Identify lessons learned and track the realization of project benefits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Administration, Business Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• CPA and/or MBA credentials are advantageous.

• A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience is essential.

• An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

• Experience in implementing financial projects is preferred.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.

• Willingness to travel is necessary.

• Proven experience leading ERP, financial systems, or Workday Financials implementation projects.

• Familiarity with regulatory standards and change initiatives is beneficial.

• Knowledge of Project Management, Agile Methodology, and Systems Development Life Cycle is required.

• Proficiency in MS Project is essential.

• Understanding of the insurance industry is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of finance applications is advantageous.
