This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
β’ Lead and facilitate regular project meetings with customers, which include status updates, planning sessions, and progress evaluations.
β’ Drive project timelines and ensure accuracy in schedules.
β’ Ensure that cross-functional team members stay aligned with deliverables.
β’ Own and manage project governance documents, such as schedules, communication plans, deliverable trackers, and RAID logs.
β’ Identify risks, issues, and obstacles, escalating them when intervention or senior-level decision-making is necessary.
β’ Handle daily customer communications regarding project updates, dependencies, and alignment of deliverables.
β’ Ensure project tasks, deliverables, and milestones are visible, monitored, and on track.
β’ Coordinate with engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders.
β’ Prepare and disseminate structured status reports.
β’ Ensure action items from both customer and internal meetings are followed up on.
β’ Maintain a consistent communication rhythm across all engagements.
β’ Oversee timesheet approvals and the accurate allocation of project hours.
β’ Assist with burn reports, budget tracking inputs, and forecasting activities.
β’ Keep organized project documentation repositories.
β’ Perform version control and ensure project artifacts are up-to-date and accessible.
β’ Assist in requirements intake, planning documentation, and logistics for project initiation.
β’ U.S. Citizenship (mandatory).
β’ SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
β’ Around 5 or more years of experience in managing or coordinating technical, software, engineering, or Federal contracting projects.
β’ Proven ability to lead customer-facing project discussions and manage daily delivery execution independently.
β’ Strong skill in producing high-quality project documentation, including status reports, schedules, delivery trackers, RAID logs, and meeting summaries.
β’ Ability to create clarity, structure, and accountability in dynamic project environments.
β’ Excellent communication skills for both customer-facing and internal interactions.
β’ Experience working within structured delivery frameworks and managing escalations effectively.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Program/Project Management, or a related field.
β’ Ability to function effectively in fast-paced, mission-driven Federal contracting environments.
β’ Willingness to travel up to approximately 10%.
β’ Preferred: Experience collaborating with DoD, Intelligence Community, or Federal Civilian customers.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with Federal contracting processes, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
β’ Preferred: Knowledge of MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
β’ Preferred: CAPM, PMP, or CSM certification (not required).
