This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee numerous large-scale solution design initiatives concurrently across various regions and sectors.
• Serve as the main solution design authority during customer interactions throughout the bidding and proposal stages.
• Evaluate customer needs, operational data, and RFP documentation.
• Create comprehensive and competitive contract logistics solutions.
• Conceptualize end-to-end warehousing and supply chain strategies.
• Foster collaboration across operations, finance, engineering, automation, IT, and commercial departments.
• Prepare and present customer proposals and solution presentations.
• Guarantee project completion within established timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Assist with implementation planning, solution transition activities, and change management practices.
• Contribute to DSV's global methodologies, standards, and tools for solution design.
• Share best practices, market knowledge, and innovative ideas within the Global Solution Design community.
• Design intricate contract logistics solutions for global clients and aid in strategic growth across essential markets, industries, and products.
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 7 years of experience in contract logistics solution design, warehouse engineering, or supply chain consulting.
• Background in third-party logistics (3PL), supply chain consulting, or large-scale logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, network design, operational modeling, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex, multi-country, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong commercial insight and experience in developing customer pricing models.
• Familiarity with warehouse automation and logistics technology solutions is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in English.
• Exceptional software skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, and AutoCAD are required.
• Experience with MS Access, simulation software, and/or network modeling software is a plus.
• Familiarity with simulation or network modeling tools is considered beneficial.
