Senior Project Manager, FSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as the Project Lead and main point of contact for sponsors

• Take ownership of the overall project delivery concerning quality, timelines, and budget

• Set and convey customer expectations to the project team

• Ensure adherence to internal and external escalation procedures

• Define roles and communication channels for secondary project leads as necessary

• Guide cross-functional project teams and handle increasingly intricate projects

• Exhibit financial stewardship, encompassing contract comprehension, resource allocation, out-of-scope activities, and change-management negotiations

• Facilitate risk identification and issue resolution at the project level through RBQM/RESOLVE

• Ensure compliance of the project team with policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements

• Mentor team members

• Contribute to or develop initiatives for process improvement

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, supported by relevant academic or vocational credentials

• 8+ years of relevant prior experience

• Master’s degree and a background in biomedical or life sciences is preferred

• Proficiency in technical and systems tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity

• Ability to delegate tasks and prioritize workload and resources in a dynamic environment

• Strong oral and written communication and presentation abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives

• Advanced understanding of cross-functional project management principles: Time, Quality, and Cost

• Capability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong judgment, decision-making, and analytical strategic thinking abilities

• Proficient negotiation skills and awareness of cross-cultural dynamics

• Solid financial acumen, including budget, forecasting, and resource management

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

• Familiarity with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements
