Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.

• Ensure adherence to both internal and external escalation processes.

• Define roles and establish communication channels for secondary project leaders when necessary.

• Responsible for the overall delivery of cross-functional projects in terms of time, cost, and quality.

• Oversee project-level financial management, which includes understanding contracts, aligning resources, managing out-of-scope activities, negotiating changes, and executing timelines.

• Set, communicate, and manage customer expectations effectively.

• Facilitate the identification of project-level risks and resolution of issues through RBQM/RESOLVE.

• Ensure compliance of the project team with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific needs.

• Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve or surpass deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, supported by relevant academic or vocational credentials.

• More than 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• A Master’s degree and a background in biomedical or life sciences are preferred.

• Proficiency in technical and systems tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.

• Capability to delegate tasks and prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.

• Proactive, solution-driven attitude, and flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.

• In-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Solid understanding of project management principles, including time, quality, cost, and financial strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Strong judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.

• Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence others, with awareness of cross-cultural considerations.

• Adherence to organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific guidelines.
