Senior Project Manager – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead one large, intricate project full-time or manage multiple mid-sized complex projects concurrently.

• Provide consultation on delivery strategies, frameworks, tools, and processes.

• Propel Agile and product delivery methodologies while resolving intricate delivery challenges.

• Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans grounded in methodology, scope, constraints, risks, and dependencies.

• Oversee project budgets, weekly burn rates, velocity, burndown reports, margins, and revenue forecasts.

• Identify project risks, maintain RAID logs, formulate mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as necessary.

• Act as the main point of contact for client delivery and cultivate robust client relationships.

• Manage project scope, prioritize tasks, estimate, and deliver change orders.

• Lead a globally distributed team of cross-functional designers, strategists, technologists, and other team members.

• Manage resource allocation within assigned projects.

• Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing and evolving the Delivery team’s processes and methodologies.

• Mentor junior program managers and team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in leading digital projects/programs.

• A minimum of 2 years of agency/consultancy experience; 5+ years is preferred.

• Familiarity with standard project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira/Confluence (or similar).

• Demonstrated success in leading and implementing large-scale digital transformation projects.

• Proficiency with CMS, CRM, CDP, Sitecore, and Salesforce products.

• Experience advising client stakeholders on best practices for digital programs.

• Capability to lead and manage multiple complex digital projects simultaneously.

• Experience in aligning digital initiatives with business objectives and driving measurable outcomes.

• Proven experience in managing large, geographically dispersed teams.

• Experience in defining contracts and managing programs in accordance with contract terms.

• Proactive in risk management and issue resolution.

• Strong financial acumen for estimating and optimizing project profitability.

• Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to build and lead high-performing digital teams.

• Skills in leadership, mentorship, coaching, and conflict resolution.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, influence, and persuasion abilities.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP) are preferred.
