Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, distribute, and implement detailed project plans aligned with business needs.

• Take the lead on various aspects of large-scale projects, including the commissioning and decommissioning of waste processing facilities as well as capital enhancement initiatives.

• Complete projects within the established timeframes and budget constraints.

• Monitor project spending.

• Provide consistent project progress reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

• Oversee the execution of plant engineering projects.

• Collaborate with OPS and Plant Engineering Managers to finalize both small and large approved projects.

• Leverage existing knowledge and experience to identify ways to minimize project duration and costs.

• Manage and liaise with contractors.

• Oversee budget tracking and management.

• Assist or lead capital upgrade projects at current company facilities.

• Regularly update Senior Management and stakeholders on project statuses.

• Support the broader engineering team in their initiatives while advocating for best engineering practices across the organization.

• Participate in training sessions and seminars to stay informed about legislative and/or technical developments.

• Show a dedication to continuous professional growth and adhere to current best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required Education: Associate's degree or equivalent.

• In-depth knowledge in a specialized area.

• Preferred management experience: 5-7 years.

• Required: PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Proficient in negotiation skills.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Competence in presentation skills.

• Leadership skills for both team and individual settings.

• Capable of conflict resolution.

• Ability to influence others.

• Skill in delegating tasks.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring others.
