Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee extensive and intricate client projects from inception to completion employing the standardized PMO project management methodology.

• Direct the comprehensive delivery of hybrid cloud solutions, data modernization, analytics, AI, and digital transformation efforts.

• Collaborate closely with the PMO Manager and practice leaders to establish standards, templates, and procedures.

• Support the PMO Manager in team meetings and management activities as a backup resource.

• Contribute to RFP responses and PMO presales initiatives.

• Lead sophisticated enterprise technology programs with a focus on cloud transformation, data platform modernization, analytics, AI preparedness, and hybrid infrastructure.

• Partner with clients, technical architects, engineers, analysts, and executive stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives.

• Oversee multiple projects within broader programs, managing interdependencies, diverse technologies, and various stakeholders.

• Shape PMO strategy and enhance project management team capabilities.

• Utilize capabilities across practice areas for substantial and complex customer project opportunities.

• Mentor team members with a focus on collective success.

• Execute other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in project and program management in technology consulting, professional services, or enterprise IT settings.

• More than 5 years of experience leading Agile software, cloud, data, analytics, or digital transformation projects.

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale enterprise implementations valued over $500K.

• Strong skills in project management, including planning, communication, issue tracking, and dependency management.

• Ethical judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Capacity to adhere to and utilize PMO best practices and established project management frameworks such as PMBoK.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Basic technical understanding of Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Analytics, Cybersecurity, Application Development, migration, and modernization projects.

• Comprehension of technical terminology and implementation techniques.

• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

• Exceptional organizational, time management, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and delegation skills.

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.

• Occasional travel may be necessary based on client needs.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

• PMP, CSM, and PgMP or equivalent certifications (preferred).
