This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist the Project Director in the planning and implementation of contracts for the design and construction of new nuclear power facilities.
• Oversee project quality, cost management, and schedule adherence.
• Direct project-related tasks and resources to ensure timely delivery, profit and loss responsibility, and client satisfaction.
• Aid in structuring the project cost framework within Oracle ERP.
• Engage in and coordinate kickoff meetings with customers, internal teams, and suppliers for projects.
• Create and maintain a project roster and track the completion of project-related training.
• Formulate and distribute the Project Management Plan along with associated project plans and procedures.
• Facilitate the execution of project plans and procedures among the project team.
• Assist in the development and rollout of project infrastructure and tools.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. export control regulations and other relevant requirements.
• Coordinate project activities while monitoring and controlling the progress of deliverables.
• Ensure that deliverables meet contractual and project specifications.
• Organize and archive project correspondence and documentation in accordance with the Project Configuration Management Plan.
• Lead the drafting and dissemination of project management meeting notes, action item lists, and progress reports.
• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or college, coupled with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in project management, engineering, or business; OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 8 years of professional experience in project management, engineering, or business.
• U.S. persons only due to access to U.S. export-controlled technology; proof of U.S. person status is required before employment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Capability to obtain access authorization for U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.
• BWR operations/maintenance experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in training development or training programs is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM field is desirable.
• Basic financial or accounting knowledge is required.
• Familiarity or experience with BWR or SFR designs is beneficial.
• Understanding of the power industry, customer base, and competitive landscape.
• Proven track record in supporting project budget, schedule, and quality targets.
• Knowledge and comprehension of financial controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience and training in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills related to project execution.
• Ability to take initiative and work autonomously.
• Capability to manage workload effectively under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
