Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take the initiative to lead and inspire diverse teams across various projects.

• Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, issues, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Ensure the timely and budget-compliant delivery of digital projects by utilizing internal processes.

• Act as Scrum Master and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews, grooming, and planning sessions.

• Track, report, and manage changes in scope, budget utilization, and timeline risks.

• Provide weekly status updates on projects to clients and Bounteous stakeholders.

• Foster consensus and address challenges within project teams.

• Advocate for the project teams, ensuring they have the necessary information to achieve quality results.

• Promote communication among project teams, client stakeholders, and senior management.

• Organize meetings, create agendas, guide conversations, and monitor action items.

• Encourage collaboration and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.

• Serve as a primary contact for clients, ensuring that expectations are met and results are delivered.

• Utilize OpenAir and Jira for project management, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

• Maintain weekly resource forecasts for project team members within OpenAir.

• Collaborate with clients and product owners to achieve business objectives through effective solutions.

• Build domain expertise in the business areas of clients.

• Work alongside designers, developers, content strategists, and various stakeholders within the organization.

• Collaborate with Client Service Executives and Business Development to define and create new opportunities.

• Report to the Program Director and work on enhancing processes and efficiency across Program Delivery.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.

• Establish strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

• Contribute to Agile methodologies and project management processes, deliverables, and standards.

• Engage in continuous learning to develop skills, techniques, and tools.

• Advocate for and enforce information security practices.

• Identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks.

• Assess data storage, processing, and transmission methods for compliance with privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.

• Incorporate data protection measures throughout the information lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of project management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience with Agile methodologies.

• More than 5 years of consulting or agency experience as a project manager.

• Familiarity with Scrum, Agile, and/or Waterfall project management techniques.

• Experience managing multiple teams simultaneously, each consisting of 4 to 8 members.

• Proven experience managing distributed or remote teams.

• Track record of delivering large-scale digital projects ($1MM+, duration of 9+ months).

• Strong understanding of digital development processes and technologies.

• Excellent organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency with Confluence/Jira or similar software development tools.

• Experience with content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager and Drupal.

• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Magento and Shopify.

• Knowledge of Google Analytics.

• Certifications such as CSM and PMP are advantageous.

• Experience in regulated environments and familiarity with policies like Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, and/or CAN-SPAM is a plus.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
