Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, lessons-learned sessions, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.

• Conduct planning sessions with the Scrum Master, Client Engagement Manager, and Product Owner to ensure alignment on the project plan and roadmap.

• Assess sprint and release progress in relation to the project plan.

• Ensure development teams adhere to agile principles including collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and visibility.

• Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects to meet established success criteria.

• Create project plans, estimates, and deliverables in accordance with SDLC methodologies.

• Monitor and communicate project status, milestones, and issues.

• Prepare Effort Estimates and evaluate Estimates to Complete.

• Determine resource needs and resolve conflicts with internal business analysts, technical staff, and management.

• Establish standards for project management documentation, measurements, and reporting.

• Provide support to project teams with deliverables as necessary.

• Interact with Aperia Solutions clients regarding project status and issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in project management within an Agile environment.

• Proven experience in delivering technical software solutions using SDLC methodologies that support Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile models.

• Knowledge of project management concepts, deliverables, and techniques.

• Demonstrated experience in producing project tracking documentation.

• Experience with conflict resolution.

• Process-oriented with a focus on measurement and feedback.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Outstanding organizational skills and capability to multitask.

• Proven leadership skills in motivating teams to achieve high performance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both business and technical audiences.

• Strong work ethic, commitment, and teamwork spirit.

• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, particularly during critical project timelines.

• PMP certification is advantageous.

• BA or BS degree is preferred.

• Must be willing to undergo a background investigation and drug test.
