This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend the overall context and organizational significance of a project
• Break down projects into actionable elements with subject matter experts
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to estimate project efforts
• Facilitate both onsite and virtual project meetings
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Promote cross-functional discussions involving stakeholders, sponsors, subject matter experts, decision-makers, and leadership
• Assess project impacts and suggest management strategies
• Ensure effective project management and visibility of progress
• Document and track key decisions made during the project
• Define and monitor criteria for project success
• Transform project tasks into assignable work within ticket tracking systems
• Promptly communicate risks, challenges, and changes to the schedule
• Maintain project timelines based on estimates and team commitments
• Adjust schedules and reassign team members based on priorities
• Capture lessons learned and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Manage team members who are allocated to the project without direct management authority
• Convey progress and performance expectations to team members
• Address or escalate task-related challenges as necessary
• Identify and implement process enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience managing small, medium, and/or large projects that affect individual teams up to entire organizations
• Familiarity or experience with Information Technology operations within a business environment
• Experience with a regulatory or information security framework and its application to projects
• Proficient in at least one project management tool or software, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Monday
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or similar software
• Demonstrated accountability in project involvement and solution-focused work
• Knowledge of ticket tracking systems, such as Jira or ServiceNow
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
• Skills in planning, organizing, setting objectives, and managing time effectively to meet deadlines
• Capability to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a fixed workstation
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and lower objects weighing up to 10 lbs
• Capacity to learn and understand basic instructions
• Focused attention on tasks and responsibilities
• Proficient in verbal communication, active listening, understanding, responding, and speaking
