This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend the overall context and significance of a project within the organization.
• Break down projects into actionable tasks with the help of subject matter experts.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to estimate project efforts.
• Facilitate both on-site and virtual project meetings.
• Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
• Promote cross-functional discussions among stakeholders, sponsors, subject matter experts, decision-makers, and leadership.
• Assess project impacts and propose management strategies.
• Maintain transparent project management practices and communicate progress effectively.
• Document and track key project decisions.
• Define and monitor criteria for project success.
• Transform project tasks into assignable duties within a ticket tracking system.
• Communicate risks, challenges, and changes in schedule to stakeholders.
• Oversee project schedules and adjust assignments according to business priorities.
• Record lessons learned and suggest process improvement initiatives.
• Manage assigned team members without direct supervisory authority.
• Communicate progress and performance expectations to team members.
• Address or escalate task-related challenges as necessary.
• Identify and implement process enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience managing small, medium, and/or large projects affecting individual teams to entire organizations.
• Experience or exposure to Information Technology operations within an organization.
• Familiarity with a regulatory or information security framework and its application to projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in at least one Project Management tool or program (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Monday, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar applications.
• Proven accountability in project involvement and solution-oriented work.
• Familiarity with ticket tracking systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizing, goal-setting, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Capability to remain seated or standing for extended periods at a stationary workstation.
• Ability to regularly lift, raise, and lower objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
• Capacity to learn and comprehend basic instructions.
• Strong focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which include listening, understanding, responding, and speaking effectively.
