Senior Program Manager – US Defense and Federal Group

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee all stages of programs from initiation to completion.

• Propel program execution to meet business and financial targets for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow.

• Manage DoW and USG initiatives that involve mesh networking solutions, such as Open RAN-based 5G/6G solutions for federal and defense purposes.

• Ensure accountability for costs, schedules, and technical performance throughout the entire program lifecycle.

• Collaborate with customers and subcontractors to negotiate, finalize, and monitor Statements of Work, milestones, risk registers, schedules, and cost variances.

• Develop and implement program plans within firm-fixed-price or cost-plus program frameworks.

• Actively identify and secure additional or follow-on program scope.

• Work in partnership with functional teams and empower groups to achieve or surpass program contract objectives.

• Adjust to evolving customer and company strategic priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance, which necessitates U.S. citizenship under federal law, or currently possess an active SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance.

• Experience in managing DoW development projects related to RF communications, networking, or cellular applications.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Familiarity with U.S. DoW and Government Project Management practices as well as Earned Value Management (EVMS).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Technical expertise in RF communications complemented by strong business acumen.
