This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring, and successful conclusion of assigned programs and projects.

• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and workback timelines.

• Facilitate collaboration among project teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

• Assess project performance and address issues impacting timelines, budgets, resources, or deliverables.

• Manage project interdependencies, competing priorities, and resource limitations across various initiatives.

• Ensure that projects achieve defined objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

• Establish and uphold project governance, controls, and reporting processes.

• Prepare updates on project status, dashboards, risk reports, and executive summaries.

• Monitor progress against objectives, timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators.

• Maintain project documentation, decision logs, and reporting records.

• Provide leadership with insights into project performance, risks, dependencies, and emerging issues.

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Develop mitigation plans and corrective actions; escalate critical issues and propose resolutions.

• Monitor project health and implement recovery plans as necessary.

• Create project budgets, forecasts, and resource plans in collaboration with project leads.

• Track expenditures and identify potential budget discrepancies.

• Coordinate and assist in the allocation and utilization of project resources.

• Enhance project delivery practices, workflows, and operational processes.

• Support standardized project management tools, templates, and reporting practices.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and document lessons learned.

• Advocate for best practices across projects and operational initiatives.

• Report directly to the CEO as an individual contributor focused on collaborative project and program delivery rather than direct personnel management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in managing programs, projects, or operational initiatives; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be evaluated.

• At least five (5) years of experience in managing programs, projects, or operational initiatives.

• Proven record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

• Capacity to work effectively in dynamic, evolving, and self-directed environments.

• Strong comprehension of project planning, governance, budgeting, risk management, and reporting practices.

• Experience in developing project plans, tracking deliverables, managing dependencies, and driving execution.

• Significant experience working in remote or distributed teams utilizing digital collaboration, communication, document management, and project management platforms.

• Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Meet) and related collaboration tools.

• Ability to swiftly learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and digital workflows.

• Competence in building productive working relationships and positively impacting a collaborative team culture.

• Ability to take initiative, resolve problems, and advance work with minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Experience working in a project management, operations, or project governance setting.

• Experience leading organization-wide initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, external partners, vendors, or service providers.

• Experience in both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Ability to accommodate core working hours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST.

• Some travel may be required.
