This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take charge of the complete program management for large-scale or highly complex Enterprise Technology & AI projects, which includes defining the scope, developing roadmaps, planning resources, and tracking delivery.
• Establish and communicate explicit success metrics for each program, report on status and risks to the Enterprise Technology & AI leadership, and escalate issues while providing recommended solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify core problems, desired outcomes, and solution trade-offs.
• Foster cross-functional alignment by facilitating decision-making, addressing dependencies, and sustaining momentum across distributed teams.
• Suggest and implement enhancements to program governance frameworks, intake processes, and operational methods within the CIO organization.
• Convert intricate technical and business requirements into clear, actionable work plans suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Foresee risks and interdependencies across the portfolio, taking proactive steps to mitigate blockers before they hinder delivery.
• Embody GitLab values and remote work best practices, contributing to a culture of high trust and asynchronous collaboration.
• A minimum of 6 years of program management experience, showcasing a proven track record in delivering large, cross-functional Enterprise Technology & AI programs.
• Proven ability to simplify complex processes and develop structured approaches to ambiguous challenges.
• Experience in influencing without authority, building trust with senior stakeholders, and driving alignment across various functions such as Finance, Legal, Sales, and Product.
• Capable of functioning at both strategic and detailed levels, seamlessly shifting between executive communication and hands-on program execution as required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting program status, risks, and recommendations to ETA leadership and executive audiences.
• Knowledge of Enterprise IT domains including business systems, data, AI, security, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture (expertise in one or more areas is preferred).
• Proficient in program and project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
• Experience working in a remote, globally distributed environment, with a preference for asynchronous collaboration and clear documentation.
