Senior Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery process of assigned initiatives and projects, from the planning stage to implementation and operational transition.

• Convert the intent of strategic initiatives into well-structured execution plans that include scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.

• Direct enterprise-wide initiatives, multi-workstream programs, and projects from the planning phase through to successful delivery.

• Develop and sustain integrated delivery plans, including milestones, deliverables, and execution schedules.

• Ensure effective daily execution across workstreams to achieve the desired outcomes.

• Define clear scope, ownership, success criteria, dependencies, and decision-making pathways.

• Hold teams responsible for meeting milestones, deliverables, and execution obligations.

• Track program health and address risks, issues, blockers, and any changes to scope.

• Escalate significant risks, trade-offs, and execution challenges to delivery leadership.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to convert requirements into actionable delivery plans.

• Assist in readiness planning, operational transition, adoption, change control, and impact assessments.

• Facilitate stakeholder readiness, communication, and adoption strategies.

• Provide decision-ready updates on program status, risks, milestones, and dependencies.

• Customize communications for executive, sponsor, and working-team audiences.

• Highlight trade-offs and offer recommendations for informed decision-making.

• Coordinate with business, operational, technology, and external stakeholders.

• Manage dependencies across workstreams, teams, and related initiatives.

• Organize working sessions, decision-making meetings, and delivery checkpoints.

• Document and monitor action items, decisions, and follow-up actions.

• Implement Strategy Execution Office delivery standards, templates, and tools.

• Support governance and review processes.

• Contribute insights and recommendations to enhance delivery maturity.

• Assist in establishing and advancing enterprise program and project management capabilities at AAIS.

• Aid in the development and adoption of standards, templates, and toolkits.

• Promote consistent delivery tools, governance processes, and execution schedules.

• Identify opportunities to enhance delivery transparency, coordination, and execution discipline.

• In-depth understanding of program and project management methodologies in complex, cross-functional settings.

• Proven ability to lead multi-workstream initiatives involving various stakeholders and dependencies.

• Demonstrated execution discipline, including the ability to transform ambiguity into structured plans, manage risks and dependencies, and achieve measurable results.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across business, technology, and external partners in a remote-first environment.

• Proficiency in delivery management tools and collaboration platforms.

• Familiarity with organizational change management principles.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in program management, project management, or delivery leadership positions.

• Experience with complex, cross-functional initiatives.

• Background in supporting enterprise transformation, digital modernization, and process improvement efforts.

• Experience in advancing delivery standards, tools, or practices within an organization.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent change management experience is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% for company meetings or planning sessions.
