This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop foundational structures and operational frameworks to transform ad hoc competitive initiatives into a consistent, scalable playbook.
• Manage designated competitive programs to safeguard strategic business interests, address recurring gaps, and seize opportunities to increase market share.
• Collaborate with Stripe leadership on projects aimed at fostering a strategic shift in company culture.
• Establish a repeatable infrastructure for Competitive Programs, encompassing deal escalation, commercial guidance, incentives, user-base analysis, regional assessments, and cross-functional feedback mechanisms.
• Oversee P0 and P1 competitive programs from start to finish, defining charters, objectives, work plans, milestones, decision forums, and success metrics.
• Create and maintain cross-functional operational rhythms, including product and regional assessments, seller enablement, product-gap evaluations, go-to-market strategies, and executive engagement plans.
• Coordinate competitive deal triage and swarm processes for high-priority opportunities.
• Collaborate with Market Intelligence to convert competitor, customer, and deal insights into actionable strategies for Product, PMM, Sales, and GTM leadership.
• Develop decision-focused executive reports on program health, competitive pipeline, risks, progress, and recommendations.
• Take ownership of and implement company-wide competitive cultural initiatives.
• Cultivate trusted working relationships across functions while ensuring accountability boundaries are respected.
• Apply program design and execution expertise to other strategic GTM priorities as business requirements evolve.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, business operations, go-to-market strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
• Experience in a Sales, Marketing, Product, GTM Operations, or other commercial capacity.
• Proven track record of leading complex and ambiguous cross-functional programs from problem identification through implementation, adoption, and operational transition.
• Experience managing global initiatives across various regions, segments, and product lines.
• Ability to navigate multiple senior stakeholders with differing incentives, priorities, and decision-making authority.
• Skill in structuring ambiguous challenges, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data, making recommendations, and driving decisions.
• Strong executive communication abilities, including crafting well-structured written updates, facilitating senior working sessions, and directly communicating risks or trade-offs.
• Capability to build and sustain an operating rhythm across multiple teams, including tracking milestones, dependencies, actions, and escalations.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to diagnose issues, evaluate program health, and guide prioritization.
• Experience thriving in high-pressure, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environments.
• High level of ownership, sound judgment, adaptability, and comfort with uncertainty.
• Collaborative work style and demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Preferred: experience in leading competitive programs, strategic account initiatives, product-launch efforts, commercial transformations, or other high-stakes go-to-market projects.
• Preferred: experience in B2B technology, enterprise software, fintech, payments, or platform companies.
• Preferred: familiarity with competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, sales enablement, pricing strategies, or product feedback mechanisms.
• Preferred: experience in building a new operating model, program management function, or creating a repeatable playbook from the ground up.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with Product, Product Operations, PMM, Sales, Pricing, Finance & Strategy, and GTM Systems teams.
• Preferred: proficiency with SQL, BI tools, or other methods for analyzing pipeline, adoption, revenue, and operational data.
